Bybit partners African talent firm Alt School for tech education

The exchange is also launching a $100,000 scholarship for 1000 Alt School Africa students.

Global cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced that it has partnered with African tech talent development firm, Alt School Africa.

The exchange has also launched a $100,000 scholarship fund for 1000 of the tech institute’s brightest students. 

The details 

  • Bybit said in a press release that the launch of the scholarship fund also marks the start of Bybit Academy. 
  • The crypto exchange added that scholarship eligibility will be based on residency in a priority country, gender diversity, and a high score on the entry examination.
  • Alt School already offers programs in software engineering, product, data, the creative economy, and business, while Bybit will introduce courses focused on technology and crypto.
  • Exceptional students that graduate in the top ten of the program will get the chance to become Bybit ambassadors and intern with the firm, the exchange said.
